菜鸟网络CTO王文彬与高德地图技术副总裁田密表示，5级地址库会通过开放平台提供给各行业使用，将被应用到物流、O2O、导航、气象等各种场景。
据介绍，我国目前正在使用的地址库国家标准是4级地址库，包括省、市、区县、街道和乡镇这4级地址，所以我们一般不必输入这四个地址，只需要在地址库中选择即可，因为这四级地址非常标准化，不会产生歧义。
