山西省委原常委、统战部部长白云受审 当庭认罪
新华视点 5月10日消息，江苏省南通市中级人民法院当天一审公开开庭审理了中共山西省委原常委、统战部部长白云受贿一案。
江苏省南通市人民检察院起诉指控：2004年至2013年，被告人白云利用其担任中共吕梁地委副书记，中共吕梁市委副书记，阳泉市人民政府市长，中共阳泉市委书记，中共山西省委常委、统战部部长等职务上的便利，为他人在企业搬迁改制、职务调整晋升、工程承接等事项上谋取利益，非法收受华通路桥集团有限公司董事长王国瑞（另案处理）、中共平定县委原书记王银旺（另案处理）等17家单位或个人给予的财物共计折合人民币1781万余元。
庭审中，公诉机关出示了相关证据，白云及其辩护人进行了质证，控辩双方在法庭的主持下充分发表了意见，白云还进行了最后陈述，并当庭表示认罪、悔罪。全国和江苏省两级人大代表、政协委员，新闻记者及各界群众80余人旁听了庭审。
庭审结束后法庭宣布休庭，择期宣判。
