上午11时许，由于身体不适，李宝俊坐着轮椅出现在被告席。
庭审过程中，李宝俊一直坚称，问题在于承办方负责人曹某。“曹坤(音)主动要求和我签了合同，施工许可证和具体情况由他负责，我不知道他们是怎么建的。”
“其实四合院买来就想着要挖地下室，就想增加实际面积。”李宝俊认为，这是多数人的心理，一开始的规划也是地面三层，底下两层。
当公诉人问道是谁提出把地下室从3层改建到5层的，李宝俊沉默着没有回答。
“你是否说过多挖一层就多赚一层的钱?”公诉机关继续问道。
李宝俊依然沉默，过了一会他说道：“我当时说在保障安全的情况下，是可以的。”
公诉机关指控称，被告人李宝俊在建设作业中造成基坑坍塌，并导致相邻路面塌陷，房屋坍塌等严重后果，经鉴定，除部分被破坏房屋外，事故直接经济损失为人民币约五百八十万，应以重大责任事故罪追究其刑事责任。
李宝俊当庭一直没有正面回答是否认罪，“我确实负有责任，但没有达到刑事责任的程度。”
除李宝俊外，事故涉及德内93号的建筑施工队负责人卢某，及其雇佣的施工队现场负责人李某，也因重大责任事故罪一并审理。
截至记者发稿时，庭审仍在继续。
