　　他指出，两岸关系之所以能取得今天的一系列成果，与“九二共识”分不开。要维持现状首先要维护这个共同政治基础，“不能只摘果子，不拜树头”。对此，绝大多数台湾同胞应该能够理解。

　　马晓光强调，只要承认“九二共识”的历史事实，认同其核心意涵，两岸就可以交往、良性互动，两岸关系就能持续地向前发展。
