据悉，今年3月7日，简先生被陌生人加QQ好友，对方是一名年轻女子。随着聊天深入，双方熟络起来，对方甚至有与简先生交男女朋友的意思。
此后，女子通过QQ发给简先生一张彩票中奖信息的截图，并说这是她刚刚在某平台购买的彩票，中奖了。截图显示，彩票名为“重庆时时彩”。
女子提出可以介绍简先生在指定平台上购买这种彩票。自3月7日起，简先生通过女子提供的指定平台先后购买51700元彩票，均未中奖，简先生意识到被骗了。
简先生称，对方告诉他无论投多少钱，只要有一次中奖，所有的钱都能回本，所以他一直在投钱。
警方发现，该女子诈骗成功后并未销声匿迹，而是继续与简先生保持联系。于是，侦查员决定，让简先生试着约女子来京见面，最终，女子接受了邀请，并束手就擒。
经查，该女子姓熊，25岁，河南信阳人。熊某对诈骗简先生供认不讳，并交代其团伙有6男2女共8名成员。
熊某交代，该团伙头目为郝某和张某，下设两名队长，每名队长带两名组员。自2016年3月起，他们通过加陌生人QQ好友的方式，诱骗对方购买指定平台的彩票，并从中获利。熊某给简先生展示的中奖信息截图是制图软件伪造的，由郝某等二人提供。
警方随即前往河南信阳，并在当地警方配合下，在一小区内将郝某、张某等犯罪嫌疑人抓获。
据嫌疑人供述，他们传给QQ好友的彩票中奖截屏是伪造的，让事主购买彩票的平台也是虚假的。
4月30日，7名犯罪嫌疑人被押解回京。经初步工作，该诈骗团伙交代作案6起，诈骗金额10万余元。昨日记者获悉，目前8名嫌疑人已被房山警方刑事拘留。
