外交部原部长助理张昆生被“双开” 涉嫌受贿犯罪
新京报快讯(记者贾世煜)据中纪委5月12日通报，外交部原党委委员、部长助理兼礼宾司司长张昆生被“双开”，其涉嫌犯罪问题、线索及所涉款物已移送司法机关依法处理。新京报记者注意到，张昆生系正式公布的第一个外交系统落马高官。
据新华社报道，2015年1月2日，外交部发言人在答记者问时表示，张昆生已被免去外交部部长助理职务。其涉嫌违纪，正在接受调查。
据中纪委今日通报，经查，张昆生严重违反政治纪律和政治规矩，对抗组织审查;严重违反中央八项规定精神和有关纪律，违规出入私人会所，不按规定报告个人有关事项，收受礼品、礼金，搞权色交易;利用职务上的便利为他人谋取利益并收受财物，涉嫌受贿犯罪。
通报称，张昆生身为党员领导干部，理想信念丧失，严重违反党的纪律，且党的十八大后仍不收敛、不收手，性质恶劣、情节严重，给党的事业和形象造成严重损害。依据有关规定，经中央纪委常委会议审议并报中共中央批准，决定给予张昆生开除党籍处分;由监察部报国务院批准，给予其开除公职处分;将其涉嫌犯罪问题、线索及所涉款物移送司法机关依法处理。
张昆生1958年出生在云南昆明，籍贯山西。据《春城晚报》报道，他曾是一名上山下乡的知青，上世纪70年代在牛背上自学英语。1981年，张昆生被四川外国语学院英语系录取。1985年，他通过外交部的招录考试来到北京，开始了外交官生涯。
工作6年后，1991年，张昆生进入北京大学国际政治专业攻读硕士研究生。此后，赴哈佛大学、牛津大学等名校继续深造，获得法学博士学位。
获得博士学位后，张昆生1995年回到外交部继续工作。历任外交部美大司副处长、中国驻美大使馆一秘、美大司参赞、外交部办公厅参赞等职。
在中国驻美大使馆工作期间，张昆生曾任中国驻美大使特别助理，经历了江泽民首次访美、克林顿访华、中国加入世贸组织等大事件。2007年，张昆生出任外交部礼宾司司长。2011年出任外交部部长助理，主管拉美地区和礼宾事务。
