  新京报快讯(记者李婷婷)近日,有公益组织就“百度推广是不是广告”向国家工商总局提出政府信息公开申请。5月13日下午,新京报记者获悉,工商总局回复称该事项不属政府信息公开范围,同时告知搜索竞价排名是否广告一直处于争议中。


  连日来,“魏则西事件”引发社会对“百度推广是不是广告”的持续热议。4月26号,几名公益组织代表向国家工商总局提起申请,要求对“百度推广是不是广 告”进行政府信息公开。5月13日下午,新京报记者从公益组织处获悉,近日国家工商总局已经就此申请回复了《政府信息公开告知书》,表示公益人员所要求公 开的事项不属于《中国人民共和国政府信息公开条例》所规定的政府信息。


  国家工商总局同时在告知书中表示,搜索竞价排名是否广告一直处在 争议中,2015年4月修订公布、9月实施的《中国人民共和国广告法》第四十条规定“利用互联网从事广告活动,使用本法的各项规定”。在前期工作的基础 上,工商总局起草了《互联网广告管理暂行办法》(征集意见稿),2015年7月以来通过多种方式向社会公开征求意见,待完成相关程序后将正式公布。
