　　南方日报讯 （记者/梁文悦 通讯员/苏金华）12日，广东海警三支队向媒体通报，该支队5月8日在我国北部湾海域查获一起特大涉嫌走私香烟案，抓获嫌疑人13名，查获涉嫌走私的外国香烟7583箱、30余万条，足足装了12卡车（见右图，梁文悦、苏金华摄），总案值5000余万元。这是近20年来粤西海域查获的案值最大的一宗涉嫌走私香烟案。

　　据介绍，日前，该支队根据掌握的情况初步判定，北部湾附近海域可能有走私活动，于是制定了周密的缉私行动方案，部署多艘巡逻艇在北部湾海域加强巡逻。5月8日上午，该支队得到线索，一艘可能装载走私物品的不明国籍船只将从北部湾海域通过，于是立即组织在附近巡逻的舰艇展开搜寻，并派出摩托艇进行拦截。海警官兵发现，涉嫌走私的“MAN FU”号外籍船舶一直沿着海上边界线靠近我国海域一侧航行，企图一有“风吹草动”，便逃向外国海域。随后，多艘执法舰艇展开联合抓捕行动，与涉嫌走私人员经过2个多小时的斗智斗勇，成功将该船控制，现场抓获13名涉嫌走私人员，查获品牌为OX3、OX5、DUDANG GARAM等10余种外国香烟，共7583箱、30余万条。 目前，此案正在进一步办理。
