5月10日，山东省纪委通报称，青岛市政协党组成员、副主席李学海涉嫌严重违纪，目前正接受组织调查。截止5月13日，官方没有公布李学海落马具体原因。而来自多个消息源称，与李学海关系密切的一当地地产开发商被调查，随之引发前者事发。
该“开发商”被一致指向青岛银盛泰集团(以下简称青岛银盛泰)董事长任军，自4月份失联至今。该公司官方网站介绍，青岛银盛泰合作开发面积达500余万平米。5月13日，青岛银盛泰没有对此作出正面回应。
青岛银盛泰董事长失联
青岛市多名当地人告诉记者，在李学海落马消息公布后，其曾任职的城阳区、市南区等鞭炮声不断，当地民众以示庆祝。5月12日，多个知情人士介绍，与李落马有关的地产商为青岛银盛泰董事长任军。后者曾为其司机，1998年下海创办青岛银盛泰房地产有限公司(以下简称银盛泰地产)。
在此前的4月份，任军被有关部门带走，现已失联。青岛银盛泰官方网站介绍，青岛银盛泰成立于2004年2月，旗下银盛泰地产成立于1998年，现已成为一家以地产开发为主业，集资本运作、自持物业运营等多元化发展于一体的现代化综合企业集团，现拥有21家全资或控股子公司，集团总资产达79亿元。截止5月13日，官方没有公布李学海落马具体原因。但来自当地多名政界人士分析，主要涉及拆迁建设中官商利益输送，其中青岛银盛泰与其关系最为密切。
当地人回忆称，2000年左右，城阳区开始大规模拆迁建设，李学海在任期间将宝龙等大牌地产引进。来自城阳区城阳街道小寨子村举报材料称，该村位于城阳区黄金地段，区政府驻地，2003年，时任青岛市委书记杜世成、城阳区委书记李学海等将小寨子几千亩土地，低价卖给杜世成的儿子，后者转手高价卖给地产开发商。

公开资料介绍，任军身兼青岛市房地产业协会副会长一职。青岛银盛泰在地产开发方面，其产品涉及住宅、商业、文化、旅游地产等多个领域。其官方网站显示，该公司在2015年以30亿的销售额收官，商品住宅销售套数、销售面积均位列青岛三甲。
“青岛银盛泰地产做的确实很好。”青岛一地产人士称，作为青岛本土地产企业，其可与海尔地产、海信地产并驾齐驱。

多名地产界人士介绍，济南市原市长杨鲁豫落马，牵扯出刚刚进军济南地产的任军。但该消息目前没有的得到官方印证。2016年4月6日，据中央纪委监察部网站消息，山东省济南市委副书记、市长杨鲁豫涉嫌严重违纪，接受组织调查。上述熟悉任军的人士称，其为人大方，舍得花钱，在争夺投资地产项目上的“大手笔”早被业内熟知。
《中国经营报》记者获悉，青岛银盛泰进驻济南的首个地产项目名为“银盛泰·金域蓝山”。
