当地时间5月12日，外交部长王毅与卡塔尔外交大臣穆罕默德和阿盟秘书长阿拉比在中阿合作论坛第七届部长级会议后共同出席联合记者会，介绍本次论坛成果。
王毅表示，中阿合作论坛第七届部长级会议已经圆满结束。这次会议恰逢中阿开启外交关系60周年，我们重申了巩固传统友好的共同意愿，制定了促进 政治互信、经济互利、文化互鉴的共同行动，表达了深化战略合作的共同期待，签署了《多哈宣言》，《论坛2016年至2018年行动执行计划》两项重要文 件。会议取得重要成果，主要表现在：
双方同意用共建“一带一路”来指导中阿关系。丝绸之路是中阿两大民族共同的历史遗产和文化价值，共建“一带一路”是我们促进共同发展、实现民族复兴的历史机遇，中阿要做共建“一带一路”进程中最可靠、最持久的合作伙伴。
双方明确以推进互联互通、产能合作和人文交流作为共建“一带一路”的三大支柱。“一带一路”在阿拉伯地区交汇，中阿双方在铁路、港口等交通基础 设施建设上潜力巨大；产能合作的目的是帮助阿拉伯国家加快工业化进程，提高自主发展能力，中方将落实好中东工业化专项贷款的使用，促进阿拉伯油气产业、汽 车制度、建材、新能源、高端制造等项目。今明两年，中方愿接待600名阿拉伯政党领导人来华考察，提供6000个培训名额，提供6000个奖学金名额，邀 请60名阿拉伯知名宗教人士来华考察。
双方同意，加强中阿合作论坛机制建设，全面推进行动计划所涉18大类36个领域的合作，重点是举办文明对话、企业家大会、能源合作论坛、新闻合 作论坛、友好大会、互办艺术节6大机制性活动；召开广播电视、卫生合作、北斗3个合作论坛；启动中阿改革与发展研究中心、中阿翻译联合培养计划、中阿智库 联合课题研究3大交流项目；充分发挥技术转移中心、核能培训中心、北斗卫星导航系统落地3大高新项目的引领作用。
双方认识到，应坚定支持彼此维护自身的核心利益和民族权益，坚定支持通过政治对话缓解地区紧张局势。阿拉伯国家重申支持中国的主权和领土完整， 反对宗教极端势力、民族分裂势力从事反华分裂活动。阿拉伯国家支持中国同相关国家根据双边协议和地区有关共识，通过友好磋商和谈判，和平解决领土和海洋争 议问题；强调应尊重主权国家及《联合国海洋法公约》缔约国享有的自主选择争端解决方式的权利。中方坚定支持阿拉伯民族捍卫自身合法权益，支持巴勒斯坦恢复 民族权利和独立建国的努力。双方都认为叙利亚等当前热点问题政治对话势头来之不易 ，进一步是和平曙光，退一步是战争深渊，支持为政治对话留出更多时间，争取最大空间。
王毅表示，15年前，中国在多哈打开了加入世贸组织的大门，迎来了自身发展的历史机遇。15年后，作为全球第二大经济体，中国又在多哈同阿拉伯国家共商建设“一带一路”大计。我们期待同阿拉伯国家携手共进，共同发展。
