　　据双鸭山市饶河县公安局刑事侦察大队城镇中队侦察员王警官介绍，1990年，犯罪嫌疑人郭强在居住地吉林省辽源市因为偷盗致人一死一伤后逃亡饶河县西风镇一村庄，将陈某家祖孙三代6口人全杀了酿成灭门案后再次逃亡，死者最大80多岁，最小11岁。

　　当年警方在现场勘查时发现了郭强的身份证，锁定他有重大做案动机。经过大量走访，怀疑1991年3月5日，当时30多岁的郭强由于逃亡时身边没有女人，对陈某家的女主人有强奸动机（郭强曾因强奸女性被判刑），遭到拒绝后杀人报复。

　　但是郭强告诉民警，当年妻子跟他说陈某调戏自己，他听后怀恨在心，于是当日清晨打开陈某家院门，发现厕所有人，用斧子将一名女子杀害，随后又陆续将其他5人杀死。然后潜逃到妻子在山东的亲属家，后来又逃到新疆。
