此前，97名电信诈骗犯罪嫌疑人（大陆65人，台湾32人）于4月30日被大陆公安机关从马来西亚押解回国，目前关押在广东省珠海市第一看守所和第二看守所。13日上午，在大陆公安机关安排下，台湾代表团一行实地参观广东省珠海市第一看守所和第二看守所、了解相关情况，并表示将与大陆密切合作，强化电信诈骗追赃措施。
32名台湾嫌犯状况良好 已有多人申请聘请律师
上午9点25分，台湾代表团一行抵达看守所。在大陆公安机关有关人员陪同下，他们首先来到珠海市人民检察院驻所检察室。

监区内专门辟出一块区域，向台湾代表团一行开放。监区内安静整洁、秩序井然，中心区域有大面积绿化带，草木葱茏、错落有致。台湾代表团多位人士对看守所的环境予以高度评价。“我们精心呵护监所环境，努力营造一个文明洁净的监管氛围。”李红平说。
在看守所内，台湾代表团通过视频监控系统观看了在押台湾嫌犯的活动情况。依照相关规定，包括32名台湾嫌犯在内的97人被分开关押在不同监室内。与所有在押人员一样，他们的作息时间十分规律：6时30分起床，中午有两个小时的午休时间，22时30分准时睡觉，每天都安排有放风时间，还可以观看电视节目。

参观结束后，台湾代表团团长陈文琪、公安部刑侦局副巡视员陈士渠接受了媒体采访。
陈文琪对看守所方面对犯罪嫌疑人权益给予的保障表示认可，认为提供了监管场所所要求的条件。“有关台湾犯罪嫌疑人的一些权利关怀事项和法律协助问题，我们将交由海基会继续跟家属保持联系，做最好的照顾。”
陈士渠在受访时明确，依照大陆有关法律规定，将在大陆对包括32名台湾嫌犯在内的97名犯罪嫌疑人进行侦查、起诉和审判。

“台湾电信诈骗犯罪集团所实施的犯罪案件给大陆群众带来了极大损失，而且赃款都流向了台湾，我们会要求台湾方面尽最大努力，为大陆在追赃方面提供协助，把这些钱追回来，返还大陆的受害人。”陈士渠说，大陆公安机关与台湾执法部门将在调查取证、追逃追赃等方面开展进一步合作。
