　　南都记者随官俊峰等志愿者到现场发现，两家厂之间的距离步行只要十几分钟，其中自来水厂在白云区，而污水处理厂在从化区境内。官 俊峰指着流溪河旁边“饮用水源一级保护区”的牌子说，污水处理厂建在离一级保护区这么近的地方，简直难以想象。因此他们联合多位环保志愿者向广州市环保局 进行投诉。

　　从广州市环保局的书面答复中，官俊峰发现，原来污水处理厂的排污口并不在污水处理厂旁边，而是为了避开法律的约束，将排污口向东北方向迁移了1.4公里到了太平一桥的桥底。“为什么就不能往下游迁移越过自来水厂的取水口，而要往更上游迁移呢？”官俊峰对此感到非常不解。
