XI noted that China and Afghanistan are traditional friendly neighbors. Diplomatic ties for more than 60 years, adhere to the five principles of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual trust, mutual support and good neighbourly relations is growing. We appreciate the Afghanistan National Unity Government was committed to developing the economy, promoting reconciliation, maintaining security, and has made positive progress. As Afghanistan can rely on neighbors and friends, China attaches great importance to cooperation with Afghanistan's friendly relations and cooperation. We are willing to join hands with the Arab efforts to promote the development of the strategic and cooperative partnership.

XI stressed that China thanks Afghanistan involving China's core and major interests for China's support on the issues. China will continue to firmly support the Afghanistan Government of national unity, respect the Afghanistan people's independent choice of political system and path of development. O we would like to work with close high-level exchanges, strengthen strategic communication and planning cooperation blueprint. China will firmly support Afghanistan in rebuilding peace and development. Both sides should cooperate closely to promote Chinese in Afghanistan as soon as possible substantive progress of major investment projects. China is ready to continue to support Afghanistan human resources development, encourages youth, think tanks, and media of the two countries strengthen exchanges and expand local government exchanges. China supports Afghanistan into the regional cooperation would help Afghanistan to promote interconnection with neighboring countries, China's "along the way" initiative with the Afghanistan National butt transition and development strategies, strengthen bilateral comprehensive cooperation to promote common development of the two countries. China firmly supports Afghanistan fight terrorism, will continue to work for Afghanistan to strengthen security provided capacity-building support. China firmly supports Afghanistan peace and reconciliation process, "o-led, all" inclusive reconciliation process, this is Afghanistan the fundamental way to achieve lasting peace and stability.

Abdullah said Afghanistan and China are good neighbors, friendship between the two peoples has a long history. 　　习近平指出，中国和阿富汗是传统友好邻邦。建交60多年来，中阿奉行和平共处五项原则，相互尊重、相互理解、相互信任、相互支持，睦邻友好关系 不断增强。我们赞赏阿富汗民族团结政府致力于发展经济、推进和解、维护安全，并取得积极进展。作为阿富汗可以信赖的邻居和朋友，中方重视发展同阿富汗的友 好合作关系。我们愿同阿方一道努力，推动中阿战略合作伙伴关系向前发展。

　　习近平强调，中方感谢阿富汗在涉及中国核心和重大利益问题上给予中方的支持。中方将继续坚定支持阿富汗民族团结政府施政，尊重阿富汗人民自主选 择的政治制度和发展道路。我们愿同阿方密切高层交往，加强战略沟通，规划合作蓝图。中方将坚定支持阿富汗和平重建和发展。双方要密切配合，推动中国在阿富 汗重大投资项目早日取得实质进展。中方愿继续支持阿富汗人力资源开发，鼓励两国青年、智库、媒体等加强交流，扩大地方政府往来。中方支持阿富汗融入区域合 作，愿帮助阿富汗推进同周边国家互联互通，将中国的“一带一路”倡议同阿富汗国家转型和发展战略对接，加强双方全面合作，促进两国共同发展。中方坚定支持 阿富汗打击恐怖主义，将继续为阿富汗加强安全能力建设提供支持。中方坚定支持阿富汗和平与和解进程，支持“阿人主导，阿人所有”的包容性和解进程，这是阿 富汗实现长治久安的根本出路。

　　阿卜杜拉表示，阿富汗同中国是友好近邻，两国人民友谊源远流长。阿方感谢中方在阿最困难时期给予的帮助，感谢中方对阿民族团结政府的支持。阿方 坚定支持中方在台湾等核心关切问题上的立场，愿同中方保持高层交往，加紧落实双方达成的共识，在国家重建过程中加强同中方在经济、基础设施、人力资源、安 全等领域合作。
