Nokia shows skill: 10Gbps symmetric data transmission speed revolution-Nokia, broadband, speed-IT information

Nokia today announced a major breakthrough, achieved for the first time based on hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) network of symmetric 10Gbps (upstream/downstream) data, using the Nokia XG-CABLE technology developed by Bell Labs, proved the existing wired network support bearing symmetrical ultra broadband access services. 10Gbps symmetric data transmission services for the cable industry, which is a major breakthrough, along with HD video, real time gaming, live video and virtual reality and augmented reality brought about by the demand for high-speed networks, Nokia since 2014-Bell Labs began to study the feasibility of symmetric data transmission based on coaxial network.

In March of this year, YiViAn reported that engineers at the University of Illinois for optical data transmission to create a new record, breaking the previous theories of optical fiber can carry only a limited number of data, error-free data transmission over 57,000 trillion at room temperature.

In many virtual reality technology, high speed network transmission is also important. High-speed networked virtual reality, augmented reality in favour of providing better online services, such as virtual reality more stable HD video service.

在今年3月份,YiViAn报道说伊利诺伊大学的工程师们为光纤数据传输创造了新纪录,打破了以前关于光纤只能承载有限数量数据的理论,在室温下传输了57千兆零错误的数据。

在虚拟现实众多技术瓶颈中,高速网络传输也是重要的一块。高速网络有利于提供更好的虚拟现实、增强现实在线服务,比如更稳定高清的虚拟现实直播服务。
