新京报快讯（记者李禹潼）记者刚刚从北京市公安局了解到，从肯尼亚遣返的76名电信诈骗嫌疑人，已于昨日被海淀检察院批准逮捕。
2014年11月29日，肯尼亚警方在一民居内发现大量电脑、交换机等涉嫌用于电信诈骗犯罪的电子通讯设备，抓获48名大陆犯罪嫌疑人、28名台湾犯罪嫌疑人，打掉了一个电信诈骗犯罪团伙。该团伙在肯尼亚首都内罗毕设立诈骗窝点，向北京、江苏、湖南、四川等9个省、直辖市拨打网络电话，冒充大陆公检法机关实施诈骗，被骗群众100余人，涉案金额600多万元。
肯尼亚执法部门经审查，决定将上述人员遣返中国大陆。第一批嫌疑人于今年4月9日遣返回国，第二批嫌疑人4月13日乘包机押解回国。这是我国首次从非洲大规模押回电信诈骗犯罪嫌疑人。
今日，记者在北京市公安局举行的打击电信诈骗犯罪拦截资金返还仪式上了解到，海淀检察机关已于昨日将上述76名嫌疑人批准逮捕。
公安部刑侦局副巡视员陈士渠介绍，2015年，全国因电信诈骗被骗走的人民币高达222亿，其中100多亿系台湾电信诈骗团伙冒充公检法实施诈骗，群众汇款后迅速转账，将钱款分散，最终在台湾提现。
“下一步，大陆公安机关将加强与台湾执法部门的合作，追缴这些被台湾电信诈骗团伙骗走的资金，返还大陆受害者。”陈士渠说，目前，被遣返的电信诈骗嫌疑人已被检察机关批准逮捕，大陆警方也向台湾执法机构提交了相关证据材料，要求台湾警方采取措施，最大限度追缴赃款，返还大陆受害群众。
陈士渠提醒，目前，全国电信诈骗还处于多发高发态势，希望群众提高防骗意识，一旦受骗，马上拨打110报警。
