徐婷娜（图：美国之音电台网站视频截图） 参考消息网5月19日报道 美媒称，自从中国留学生来到美国留学以来，他们的配偶也就是所谓的陪读群体也日益扩大。这些陪读的人士持美国政府发给的F-1签证，来美的主要目的就是陪同留学人员生活。他们中许多人都是专职的家庭主妇或者主夫，负责照顾家庭，养育儿女，专心照料留学人员的生活。
据美国之音电台网站5月18日报道，但在这些陪读人员中，有许多人本身在中国就有很好的事业，或是具有一技之长。那么，这些陪读人员能不能在兼顾家庭的同时也能发挥自己的特长，开辟事业的第二春呢？
留学生陪读夫人徐婷娜说，“计划赶不上变化，小孩不是我们计划的，所以来了之后就来了。他也给我们很多快乐和惊喜。所以都是挺充实的挺好。你需要干什么就干什么，就做好那件事情呗。唯一能控制的就是我都是在做我喜欢的事情。这样其实每天还是蛮开心的。”
徐婷娜说，“我本来是在纽约读的舞蹈学校，毕业之后就随我先生来到马里兰大学这边，因为舞蹈是自己的专业，也是自己的工作也是自己的爱好，所以就不想停，不想放弃，想继续跳舞。刚好马里兰大学，就是我先生的这个大学中国学生挺多的，他们也挺喜欢想要跳舞学习这样的，然后我就组一个舞蹈团吧。中国学生就可以课后练练舞，聚一下，认识很多朋友。”
来到美国之后，徐婷娜和她高中的恋人杜凡结了婚，把她的学生签证转成了陪读的F2签证，并跟随丈夫从纽约来到了马里兰小镇上的大学校园。她的生活发生了很大的改变。
徐婷娜说，“周末就要把家里打扫干净，你得做饭，你得研究菜谱啊。我还开了一个自己研究的菜谱（博客），教大家做我们家乡的菜。洗衣服啊，收拾家里啊，有空的时候就要学习新的舞蹈动作，看舞蹈视频，剪音乐啊。每个星期起码有一次训练，如果有演出的话，一个星期三次或者天天我都往学校要去。给每一个人课后补习。我还设计衣服，给她们做演出服装。”
当了陪读夫人后，徐婷娜仍然不能忘情于舞蹈。她不仅创办了“炙舞团”，而且把自己的一些舞蹈动作视频上传到YOUTUBE上，免费教给中国留学生如何跳舞，以及礼仪仪态等要领。
徐婷娜的丈夫杜凡是个攻读电脑专业的博士生，今年就要毕业了，之后的去向还不定。孩子还小，陪读夫人徐婷娜的生活重心现在是以孩子和家庭为主。那么，小孩大一点之后徐婷娜的陪读生活会是什么样子呢？
徐婷娜说，“我想小孩大一点就会有第二个小孩呀。如果小孩都大一点，我还是蛮想以后继续做舞蹈方面的事情。今天看演出，许多小孩跳舞蛮可爱噢，我就想进来开一个儿童的舞蹈培训。让儿子也学一下舞蹈啊，让女儿也学一下舞蹈啊。”
丈夫杜凡说，“各有各的事业吧。反正我也不是支持她，也不反对她。她自己的事情尽量让她自己去管理。我还是比较支持对方自由的，不会特别去干涉。她偶尔会跟我讨论一些问题。但是一般我的建议都被她否决了。我会出点子，但是几乎没有被采纳过。她是特别热爱这个事业，所以说你叫她放弃，她也是貌合神离不可能放弃。我是精神上支持她，但是真要帮她，我也有我的工作嘛，所以很难说能够帮上什么忙，但是会精神上支持。”
徐婷娜说，“其实我很多东西想尝试的，你如我一直想尝试中国的民族风跟美国的街舞风的一个结合。把我学过的中国文化跟西方文化结合起来。我先生毕业以后不一定会留在马里兰，他如果有工作在外州的话我也会走。但是我希望‘炙舞团’可以一直运行下去，一代接一代这样子。”
