IT资讯讯 5月18日消息，继宣布即将停止短信转飞信业务之后，中国移动今晚再次在官网发布公告，称手机电视业务将于2016年6月1日0点停止办理，并于2016年6月30日24点正式下线。
公告称，手机电视业务下线后，自2016年7月1日起，原收费客户将不再收取费用。
手机电视业务(CMMB)是国家广电总局所属中广移动有限公司与中国移动通信有限公司合作开发的移动多媒体广播电视业务，可以实时收看以广播方式传送的广播电视节目，2009年，CMMB运营方中广传播与中国移动签署合作协议，CMMB成为中国移动TD―SCDMA手机集采的标配。2010年3月22日，中国移动正式宣布手机电视业务商用，按月收取收视费，6元/月。
在只有2G网络的时代，手机电视能够提供相对清晰的电视转播，但随着互联网电视的兴起和3G、4G的普及，手机电视业务显得越来越鸡肋，关闭宿命早已注定。
