目前还不清楚任天堂将如何涉足餐饮业，他们有可能成立一家全新的公司。这听起来有些怪异，但对一向喜欢多元化经营的日本企业来说却并不罕见。例如，游戏发行商Konami就涉足了健康俱乐部和房地产行业，索尼同样在印度拥有电视频道和人寿保险业务。
