　　中新网昆明5月21日电 (记者 胡远航)记者从云南省勐海县公安局交警大队获悉，21日，该县连发两起交通事故，导致5人死亡2人受伤。

　　通报称，21日凌晨2时许，一辆载有6人、车牌号为云KC1996的轻型普通货车(核载5人)，沿勐宋公路由勐宋向勐海方向行驶至勐宋线K12+460米处时，车辆驶离路面单方肇事，造成车辆损坏、车内4人当场死亡、2人受伤。

　　21日8时20分许，勐打线勐海向景洪方向30公里处(勐海辖区)，又发生一起重型半挂牵引车单方肇事翻入山沟的交通事故，造成车内驾驶员当场死亡。

　　目前，两起交通事故的原因调查、善后等工作正在有序开展中。2名伤者均已送医，其中受伤较重的1名伤员转至西双版纳州人民医院救治。(完)
