　　信息时报讯 （记者 黄熙灯 通讯员 粤水轩） 记者昨日从广东省防总获悉，20日到21日的极端罕见强降雨是今年以来广东最强的一次强降雨过程，重灾区信宜成为本次强降雨的“雨窝”，其6小时雨量达429.5毫米，不仅超过6小时历史最大值195.7毫米，而且超过了24小时历史最大值331.8毫米，超二百年一遇，造成严重灾情。

　　据监测，20日凌晨到21日白天，粤西、粤北和珠江三角洲地区出现暴雨、大暴雨到特大暴雨的强降雨过程。强降雨在空间分布上呈现出“南北两条雨带、西边一个雨窝”的特点，北边的暴雨带位于韶关-清远-肇庆一带，南边的暴雨带位于汕尾-阳江之间的沿海地区，茂名信宜地区还出现了一个局地特大暴雨的雨窝，造成严重洪涝灾害。

　　这也是今年以来广东最强的一次降水天气过程，具有“暴雨范围广、降水强度强、累计雨量大”的特点。全省过程雨量大于400毫米的站点有5个，大于300毫米的站点有15个，大于200毫米的站点有45个，大于100毫米的站点有321个。

　　专家分析指出，这次造成信宜严重洪涝灾害的主要原因，一是特殊的地理位置，二是罕见的极端强降雨。由于信宜位于广东三大山脉之一的云开山脉的崇山峻岭之中，是广东的暴雨中心，在强降雨袭击之下，极易引发暴涨暴落的山洪，特别是信宜市区，四周群山环抱，在6小时雨量超双极值、超二百年一遇的强降雨的连续袭击下，周围洪水集中汇聚在市区，导致严重内涝，造成严重灾害。

　　目前，降雨云带已东移，雨势也在减小。至21日20时，除北江英德站超警戒水位2.11米外，其他江河的水位已退至警戒线以下，水势平稳。
