广东启动Ⅱ级救灾应急响应

　　信息时报讯 （记者 吴瑕） 省民政厅昨天发布通报，据统计，截至5月21日15时，全省受灾人口56.7万人，紧急转移安置4.14万人，农作物受灾面积2.2千公顷，倒塌房屋465间，直接经济损失10.63亿元。

　　灾情发生后，灾区各级民政部门采取有力措施，及时开展救灾抢险工作，妥善安置受灾群众，及时发放彩条布950米、雨衣300套、雨伞250把、水鞋250对、油毡纸280捆、大米10吨、电筒500支、矿泉水300箱、速食面200箱、被席蚊帐300套、帐篷200顶等救灾物资一批，确保受灾群众基本生活。

　　针对全省灾情，根据《广东省自然灾害救助应急预案》规定，省民政厅决定于5月21日11时启动Ⅱ级救灾应急响应，并派出由厅领导带队的工作组赶赴茂名灾区指导开展救灾工作。
