　　湖北政协经委会原副主任梅祖恩日前被公开开庭审理，被公诉机关指控：滥用职权，致使国家经济损失5.4亿余元，非法收受各项财物共计43.01万元。

　　5月27日，湖北省荆州市中级人民法院一审公开开庭审理了政协湖北省第十一届委员会经济委员会原副主任梅祖恩滥用职权、受贿一案。公诉机关指控梅祖恩滥用职权，致使国家遭受重大损失，并非法收受各项财物共计43.01万元。

　　公诉机关指控，2004年至2006年期间，梅祖恩在担任湖北省农业厅副厅长兼省畜牧局局长、省南湖开发领导小组组长期间，省农业厅以集体研究的形式，违反国有资产处置和土地管理有关规定，将省畜牧局下属事业单位省畜禽育种中心402.54亩国有划拨土地非法转让给深圳某集团股份有限公司，用于经营性开发，给国家造成经济损失54241.297万元。

　　在此过程中，梅祖恩收受该公司贿赂，实施了同意并推动省畜禽育种中心与该公司签订开发合作协议、同意专门为该公司量身设定土地挂牌交易条件、同意出具虚假材料帮助该公司取得土地使用权证等违法行为。

　　2004年至2013年期间，梅祖恩利用职务之便，为多个单位和个人在购买土地、房地产开发、解决职工养老保险、承接办公楼改造工程、争取财政补贴等事项上提供帮助，非法收受单位和个人财物共计折合人民币43.01万元。

　　法庭上，公诉机关出示了相关证据，梅祖恩及其辩护人进行了质证，控辩双方充分发表了意见，梅祖恩对自己的滥用职权、受贿行为当庭表示认罪和悔罪。本案将择期进行宣判。

　　梅祖恩简历

　　历任湖北省农垦局副局长，湖北省畜牧局局长、党组书记，湖北省农业厅副厅长、党组成员，湖北省农垦事业管理局局长、党组书记，湖北省政府副秘书长、湖北省省政府办公厅党组成员，湖北省政协经济委员会副主任。2014年8月7日，据中央纪委监察部网站消息，梅祖恩因涉嫌严重违纪违法，接受组织调查。
