去年，上万名京东员工分三个批次陆续搬入新总部大楼。京东的新总部位于北京东南五环外，一南一北，距离原总部38公里，David上班从过去的10公里，变成了现在的50公里。
公司很贴心的安排了班车和通勤补助，David准备看在钱的份儿先两地通勤。早上7点半上车，1个半小时到公司，能睡上一觉。可晚上归心似箭的他除非5点从公司出发，否则绝赶不上家里的晚饭，一旦加班错过班车，就要等晚上10点左右那班。有几次加班，他甚至选择在公司附近住酒店，也不愿意回家折腾。
大半年来，David感到身心俱疲，现在盘算着辞职，还是老老实实在北面找一个工作，离家近才是王道。David说，因为这次搬家，京东流失了一些员工，毕竟范围跨度太大了，而大部分程序员、工程师的圈子都在北边。
