这是广东省公安厅30日在通报多宗特大赌博案件时披露的信息。广东省治安管理局局长郑泽晖介绍说，案件发生在广东省河源市，当地警方抓获违法犯罪嫌疑人13人，其中逮捕8人，5人被行政处罚，该团伙在微信群每天押注金额30多万元，累计流水1000多万元。

广东省公安厅副厅长彭会说，当前涉赌违法犯罪已全面向网络化快速发展，借助互联网和电子支付平台完成投注的过程，时间短，转账迅速，具有很强的隐蔽性。
