澎湃新闻记者在北京市语言文字测试中心网上看到，普通话水平测试在线报名系统有特别提示：报名成功后，应试者须按规定时间持身份证和50元报名费到测试机构完成现场确认及缴费工作（全日制高校在校生持学生证确认，报名费为25元）。
北京语言文字测试中心工作人员对澎湃新闻说：“报名费有50元和25元，学生考生可以通过学校统一报名得到打折优惠。”
为何会有学校统一报名才能打折优惠？网上特别提示并没有该要求，而是持学生证确认即可。这位工作人员称“对其它情况并不清楚”。
强制考前培训费是否合理？
北京市语言文字测试中心官网显示，共有16家以北京各行政区名命名的分中心，支持网上报名的有西城区、海淀区、石景山区和房山区4家，其中只有海淀区明确表示学生证打折，西城区提示该中心面向社会人员，报名费一律50元，而房山区报名费则直接显示80元。
房山区分中心工作人员称，80元包括了报名费和教材费。而西城区分中心工作人员则表示，没有考前培训，但可以自愿并自费参加考前中心组织的培训。
对于东城区强制收取10元钱的“考前培训费”做法，北京市测试中心工作人员告诉澎湃新闻：“如果没有发教材之类的资料，考前培训是自愿且不收费的。”
根据《关于普通话水平测试费和国家普通话水平等级证书工本费收费标准的通知》，各级普通话水平测试实施机构向参加普通话水平测试人员收取普通话水平测试费收费标准为每人次不超过50元，在校学生参加普通话水平测试减半收取测试费，贫困学生参加普通话水平测试免收测试费。收费单位应出具行政事业性收费票据。
