5月31日，河南省检察院印发《关于加强农村留守未成年人司法保护的意见》，强调从打击、保护、预防、救助等方面加大对农村留守未成年人的司法保护力度，切实维护其合法权益。
意见强调，要依法严惩侵害农村留守未成年人犯罪。对性侵、绑架、拐卖、伤害、遗弃、虐待农村留守未成年人以及教唆、胁迫、诱骗、利用农村留守未成年人犯罪等严重侵害未成年人身心健康和合法权益的案件，依法快捕快诉，从严惩处。严格落实对涉罪农村留守未成年人合法权益的保护特殊制度。加强心理疏导和矫治，最大限度地教育、感化、挽救涉罪的农村留守未成年人。严肃查办侵害农村留守未成年人合法权益的失职渎职犯罪。对国家工作人员发现或者应当发现农村留守未成年人权益受到侵害或可能受到侵害，应当采取措施而未采取措施，导致农村留守未成年人重伤或者死亡等严重后果的，职务犯罪侦查部门要依法严肃查处。
