Hua Chunying speaking Chinese peacekeepers attacked in Mali
Early this morning, the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Mali multilayer integrated attacked peacekeepers in the camps, causing heavy casualties, including Chinese peacekeepers and 1 sacrifice, 4 people were injured. We express deep condolences for the victims and sincere condolences to their families and the injured.
After the incident, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to, and demands the immediate emergency and rehabilitation work carried out. Work is now in full swing.
This was a terrorist attack against United Nations peacekeepers, is a serious crime, not be tolerated. The Chinese side strongly condemned. We ask the Mali Government and the United Nations immediately to investigate the terrorist attacks and bring the killers to justice, and to closely cooperate with the Chinese side to do remedial work.
I would like to stress that, the Chinese Government's firm support for the cause of international peace, firmly support the maintenance of peace and stability in Africa. At present, more than more than 2,400 Chinese peacekeepers are Mali, Congo (DRC), Liberia 7 African mission areas, such as implementation of the United Nations peacekeeping mission. China will continue to participate actively in United Nations peacekeeping operations, continue to implement the spirit of the Charter of the United Nations, we contributed to the maintenance of peace and security in Africa.

华春莹就中国驻马里维和人员遇袭发表谈话
今天凌晨，联合国驻马里多层面综合稳定特派团营地的维和部队遭遇袭击，造成重大伤亡，其中中国维和人员1人牺牲，4人受伤。我们对遇难者表示沉痛哀悼，对其家属和受伤人员表示诚挚慰问。
事件发生后，党中央、国务院高度重视，要求立即开展应急处置和善后工作。相关工作正全面展开。
这是一起针对联合国维和人员的恐怖袭击事件，是严重的罪行，不可容忍。中方予以强烈谴责。我们要求马里政府和联合国方面立即对此次恐怖袭击事件展开调查，将凶手绳之以法，并密切配合中方做好善后工作。
我愿强调，中国政府坚定支持国际和平事业，坚定支持维护非洲的和平与稳定。目前，2400多名中国维和人员正在马里、刚果（金）、利比里亚等7个非洲任务区执行联合国维和任务。中方将继续积极参与联合国维和行动，继续为践行《联合国宪章》精神，为维护非洲的和平与安全作出我们的贡献。
