当地时间5月31号晚八点，我赴马里维和部队遇袭事件发生后，驻扎在另一营区的我国第四批赴马里维和医疗队立即启动伤员救治预案，组织医护人员全力做好受伤人员的救治工作。
爆炸袭击发生后两小时，第一名受重伤的我维和人员与受伤的九名联合国民事人员被送到我国赴马里维和医疗队，医护人员随即展开分组抢救。其中一名负重伤的维和人员，伤情为右小腿开放性粉碎性骨折，合并左大腿重度软组织开放伤，失血较多。
与此同时，我维和医疗队迅速派出空中运送组，在塞内加尔维和部队的护送下到袭击地点接收另外三名伤势较重的维和人员。这三人中，两名负头皮挫裂伤，另一人是颌面部开放伤大出血合并左踝关节开放性多发韧带伤伤员。经过医护人员的连夜手术抢救，到当地时间6月1日上午8点，四名维和人员伤情得到有效缓解。
