It said China always proceed from their national conditions, adhere to the religious principles of self-administration, any outside organization or individual is allowed to interfere in China's religious affairs. China is a socialist country, religion was at this time in Xinjiang under the condition of presence and activities. Adhere to the religion to adapt to socialist society, and requirements both for China and also its own internal needs for survival and development.

It said that today, the status of religious freedom in Xinjiang is unmatched by any previous historical period, but also any respect facts have not denied. The Chinese Government firmly opposes politicization of religious issues, oppose excuse the religious issue to interfere in the internal affairs.

White paper pointed out that at present, China is in a moderately well-off society in the winning stage. 《新疆的宗教信仰自由状况》白皮书发布_新闻资讯

　　新华社北京6月2日电（记者崔清新、王聪）国务院新闻办公室2日发表《新疆的宗教信仰自由状况》白皮书。

　　白皮书约8600字，除前言、结束语外共包括七个部分。

　　白皮书说，历史表明，宗教的生存和发展，必须与所处社会相适应，坚持走本土化道路；宗教间的共存共融，必须包容互鉴、和睦相处；实现宗教信仰自由，必须远离宗教战争与冲突。

　　白皮书指出，实践证明，新中国成立以来，宗教信仰自由的宪法原则在新疆得到全面落实，公民宗教信仰自由权利得到充分尊重，信教公民的正常宗教需求得到有效满足，宗教界在促进经济发展和社会稳定中的积极作用得到较好发挥，政府依法管理宗教事务能力不断提升，宗教领域对外交流稳步拓展，宗教极端主义渗透蔓延势头得到有效遏制。

　　白皮书说，中国坚持从本国国情出发，坚持独立自主自办宗教的原则，任何境外组织和个人不得干涉中国的宗教事务。中国是社会主义国家，新疆的宗教是在这一时代条件下存在和活动的。坚持宗教与社会主义社会相适应，这既是中国国情的要求，也是宗教自身生存发展的内在需求。

　　白皮书说，今天，新疆的宗教信仰自由状况是过去任何一个历史时期都无法比拟的，也是任何一个尊重事实者都不会否认的。中国政府坚决反对把宗教问题政治化，反对借口宗教问题干涉他国内政。

　　白皮书指出，当前，中国正处于全面建成小康社会的决胜阶段。作为丝绸之路经济带核心区的新疆，将一如既往地在平等友好、互相尊重基础上开展对外合作与交往，促进不同宗教、不同文明之间的对话与交流，增进理解与互信，为世界和平发展、人类文明进步作出积极贡献。
