TV: China has four "first", but only one-global Samsung, TV plus, TCL and Hisense-IT information

TCL号称第一,意指在全球范围内它是中国彩电销量最大的企业。这个第一在2014年之前,业界基本没有异议;但是,2015年之后发生了改变。海信开始宣传其彩电销量全球排名第三,这显然是打TCL的脸。奇怪的是,面对海信的宣传,TCL竟然选择了沉默,给人以“我认了”的感觉。

过去三年,创维、海信均号称自己彩电第一,是指在中国本土市场。虽然二者私下里并不认同对方说法,明面上各说各话也算相安无事。这几年,不断有记者问我:为什么中国有两个彩电销量第一?我说,这要“归功”于两个有逼格的调查机构在发布数据。所谓“虾有虾路,蟹有蟹路”,各有各的财路,但真相只有一个。

这次,某调查机构想玩平衡结果引发公愤,同一家调查机构统计出两个彩电销量第一,这已是赤裸裸的造假!可笑的是,该公司给出的解释是“统计口径不同”,既然统计口径不同,那只能说明你统计方法有缺陷、不专业。还是那句话:真相只有一个。

中国有四个彩电“销量第一”,但是全球只有一个,且从来没有争议。

在过去至少十年时间里,三星彩电全球销量持续保持第一。过去十年三星到底卖出去多少台彩电?答案是:4.27亿台电视。即:平均每年卖出去4270万台。

实际上,近五年,三星彩电年平均销量还要更高一些,约在5000万台左右,最高年份的2014年一度冲至5500万台。

5000万台是什么概念呢?我给大家科普一下。

1、大致相当于中国市场全年彩电销量的总和。以2015年为例,中国市场彩电总销量约为4800万台,甚至低于三星彩电的年销量。

2、恰好是2015年TCL、创维、海信、乐视四家企业的销量之和。即:1700万台+1500万台+1500万台+300万台,正好5000万台。

前年,我曾经和一家彩电企业老总说到谁是中国彩电老大的问题,我说,你们和XX争彩电销量第一,最终谁也说服不了谁,因为你们都拿不出充分的证据证明自己是第一,“而这取决于你尚未建立绝对竞争优势,如果你真的把对手甩出老远,没有人敢和你争第一。”我问他:“你见过有企业和三星彩电争第一吗?”

言归正传。

说这些,是因为我昨天参加了三星SUHD TV鉴赏会,并观看了其第二代量子点电视演示。

这款第二代量子点电视,画面表现力到底怎么样?我这里引用三星工程师给出的两组关键词:1、“这是一款最接近VR的电视”,2、“画面媲美OLED”。

你一定知道,2016年以来VR火到烫手,它给人们提供了一种前所未有的虚拟观感,这种观感的最强烈感受就是“我在现场”。三星这场鉴赏会的主题恰恰是“感觉,我就在哪里”。这种逼真的现场感,三星称之为“沉浸式体验感”。

至于OLED有多火,我就不用说了,大家自行数一数今年以来有多少新闻报道就知道了。

以我对液晶电视超过14年的连续跟踪观察,这款三星第二代量子点电视,堪称“液晶时代的巅峰之作”,从画面表现力到工业设计,都臻于完美。

正因如此,我视三星第二代量子点电视为液晶时代“最灿烂的绽放”,在OLED大规模替代液晶之前,已经很难有高于量子点电视的技术出现。

回头看,液晶电视至今已走过差不多16年,三个时代:LCD时代、LED时代、量子点时代

稍一留心便不难发现,除了LCD时代由日本企业夏普开创,LED时代及量子点时代,均由三星开创。这就是我为什么说“液晶从日本时代进入韩国时代”的原因。

如此看来,三星多年盘踞全球液晶霸主地位,绝对不是无缘无故的。

但我更愿意站在更高的角度审视三星这场有点不合时宜的鉴赏会。诚如三星所言,而今OLED横空出世,“液晶将死”传言四起,未来的电视到底向左还是向右?尚未形成统一的答案,两眼迷茫的不啻消费者,还有彩电企业。

三星持续发力量子点电视,自有其逻辑。三星认为,OLED电视短时期内不可能成为主流产品,持续发力量子点,意在争夺OLED时代到来之前这个不可或缺的市场。同时,也是为自己的大屏幕OLED面板产业争取时间。

何况在三星看来,量子点有其明显优势,不仅画面表现力卓越,而且作为无机材料可以增强电视使用寿命。
