Chargé d ' affaires AU mission, China Xinhua News Agency, Addis Ababa, June 2-Chen Xufeng, May 31 Mwencha, Vice-Chairman of the AU Commission, both sides Sino-African Union cooperation and exchange views on issues of common concern.

Chen Xufeng Mwencha and focus on the "three networks" and African cooperation projects such as construction of the Centers for disease control. Mwencha commended the Chinese Government to the AU to provide all kinds of assistance as well as the latest achievements in bilateral cooperation, and deepening Sino-African Union partnership with confidence.

Referring to the South China Sea issue, Mwencha expressed support for China's stand on the issue of the South China Sea, calling for the direct parties to the dialogue and consultations on the issue of South China Sea an opportunity, under international law, the peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue. Mwencha stressed that the State concerned shall in accordance with the provisions of the Declaration on the conduct of parties in the South China Sea through friendly consultations and negotiations, the peaceful settlement of territorial and maritime disputes, increase mutual trust and maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea.

　　新华社亚的斯亚贝巴6月2日电 中国驻非盟使团临时代办陈绪峰5月31日会见非盟委员会副主席姆文查，双方就中非盟合作和共同关心的问题交换意见。

　　陈绪峰和姆文查重点探讨了“三网一化”和非洲疾控中心建设等合作项目。姆文查高度评价中方向非盟提供的各类援助以及双方合作取得的最新成果，并对进一步加深中非盟合作关系充满信心。

　　在谈到南海问题时，姆文查表示支持中国在南海问题上的立场，呼吁南海问题各直接当事国给对话与协商一个机会，根据国际法，通过对话和平解决有关争议。姆文查强调，有关国家应根据《南海各方行为宣言》的规定，通过友好磋商和谈判，和平解决领土和海洋争议问题，增进互信，维护南海和平稳定。
