中青在线郑州6月4日电（中国青年报·中青在线记者潘志贤） 记者今天获悉，河南省高级人民法院6月3日对河南总商会原副会长王华等19人涉黑案终审宣判，维持一审对主犯王华和孙培国的死刑判决，其他被告人被判死缓、有期徒刑等。
2015年3月31日，本报以《“红顶商人”涉嫌雇人放火却逍遥法外》为题，报道了王华等人涉黑一案；2015年8月11日，本报又以《“河南省百佳慈善大使”涉黑被判死刑》为题追踪报道了此案。王华涉黑案备受社会关注，原因在于涉案人员多、案情复杂，另外，王华案发前曾先后担任河南省漯河市政协常委、河南省工商联副主席、河南总商会副会长等职。
2015年3月24日，鹤壁市中级人民法院一审公开开庭审理被告人王华等19人涉黑案，被控罪名包括涉嫌组织、领导、参加黑社会性质组织罪，放火罪，赌博罪，开设赌场罪，故意伤害罪，寻衅滋事罪，敲诈勒索罪，破坏生产经营罪，交通肇事罪，包庇罪，窝藏罪等11项罪名，起诉书指控31起违法犯罪事实。庭审持续了5天，于3月28日结束。
此案涉及到的19名被告人，除多名有前科外，还有一些地方政府任职的公职人员。
法院一审判决被告人王华犯组织、领导黑社会性质组织罪、放火罪等罪，数罪并罚，决定执行死刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产；被告人孙培国犯参加黑社会性质组织罪、放火罪等罪，数罪并罚，决定执行死刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处罚金10万元；被告人孙培超犯放火罪、故意伤害罪，数罪并罚，决定执行死刑，缓期二年执行，剥夺政治权利终身。其他被告人苗会菊等16人分别被判处有期徒刑15年、10年6个月、2年不等的刑罚，对其中三名被告人适用缓刑。
一审宣判后，王华、孙培国等部分被告人提出上诉。
2016年2月1日至2日，河南省高级人民法院在鹤壁市公开开庭审理被告人王华等人组织、领导、参加黑社会性质组织等犯罪上诉案。
河南省高级人民法院依法维持了鹤壁市中级人民法院以组织、领导、参加黑社会性质组织、放火、故意伤害等罪名判处王华、孙培国死刑，其他被告人死缓、有期徒刑等刑罚的一审判决，并将王华、孙培国的死刑判决报请最高人民法院复核。
