湖北荆州警方一直在对助考犯罪活动进行跟踪追查，大量线索指向武汉新生机教育考试培训机构的负责人王某波。考研当天凌晨，民警突然发现有人向王某波传递考试答案，同时公安部也紧急通报，有多名犯罪嫌疑人携带考试的试题和答案，从河南到武汉进行贩卖。荆州警方立即排查王某波具体所在位置，于考研当日上午11时许，将正在利用无线电传输设备发送答案的王某波当场抓获。

通过对王某波随身携带电子设备的数据勘验，发现王某波的答案来源于一个叫陈某的人，陈某交代，试题和答案来自河南一个团伙。

“弹弓”弹出试题秘密组织培训
2014年7月，犯罪嫌疑人李某在罗某工作的河南某印刷厂看到印有“高考试卷”字样的档案袋，得知一些绝密考试试卷在此地印刷，便萌生了操作考试舞弊的想法，随后两人多次商议操作此事。2016年研究生考试临近前，两人再次“密谋”。
2015年12月15号，罗某和同伙里应外合，一个负责使用类似弹弓的弹射装置传送存有试卷照片的内存卡，一个负责在外接应。考研前夕，李某拿到了内存卡，他在郑州设立楚博教育有限公司开始招录培训人员，但只招收到20多名学生，牟利与预期值相差巨大。急不可耐的李某将目标瞄准了考试大省湖北，他在网上联系到在武汉当地的陈某，商量合作。
陈某拿到了两门考试的试卷，开始在武汉组织培训。据交代，为了保证培训内容不外泄，所有进场人员都要接受金属探测器的检查，培训现场留存的纸张等资料在培训结束后全部被撕碎冲入下水道中。2015年12月25号晚上8点，也就是考研前一天，犯罪嫌疑人胡某参加了这场“秘密”培训。
2016研究生考试当天凌晨3点多钟，胡某将偷偷从培训现场带出来的考试试卷和答案通过手机发给了犯罪嫌疑人王某波，被警方截获。顺着王某波这条线索顺藤摸瓜，盘踞在湖北长期从事助考犯罪活动的团伙落网。
武汉、河南两个团伙都已到案，两地警方进行照片辨认，对问讯笔录进行比对，印证了这两个团伙之间提供答案的事实。
经过一个多月的审讯，湖北警方掌握了河南、武汉两个团伙从窃题、传题、解题、再到招生、培训、组织作弊、替考的完整犯罪链条，长期盘踞在湖北的助考犯罪团伙受到重创。
作弊考生全部取消成绩11个涉案培训机构被取缔
根据教育部令第33号，对考试作弊学生视情节轻重，给予停考1至3年的处理。本案中，公安部门协同教育部门，对参加助考培训的全部考生取消了考试成绩。
刑法第九修正案施行以来，明确将组织考试作弊、买卖试题和替考等作弊行为纳入刑法范畴，这为本案的顺利侦破提供了强有力的法律保障。本案涉及的11个培训机构被依法取缔。
高考在即，湖北公安机关网安部门做出承诺，将继续加大对助考犯罪活动的打击力度，对图谋高考期间组织考试作弊的，坚决依法打击，绝不姑息。
