目前，江苏省已组建5支国家重点防汛抢险机动队、8支省重点防汛抢险机动队，与省军区组建15支抗洪抢险专业队，与省武警总队组建两级抗洪抢险梯队。市县组建了专群结合的巡堤查险抢险队伍70万人。
