中国旅游局高度关注泰国快艇相撞致中国游客死亡事故

8日中午左右，两艘共搭载62名游客的快艇在泰国南部海岸相撞。

　　中新网6月9日电 据国家旅游局网站消息，6月8日11:40左右，在泰国甲米府皮皮岛附近，两艘载有60名中国游客的快艇追尾相撞。事故造成一男一女2位中国游客死亡，34人不同程度受伤。

　　事故发生后，国家旅游局高度重视，国家旅游局局长李金早要求驻曼谷办事处迅速了解游客伤亡情况，与使馆和泰国旅游部门保持密切联系，协助开展伤员救治和善后处置工作。当天，国家旅游局紧急成立由杜江副局长牵头的泰国事故应急小组，驻曼谷办事处工作人员第一时间与驻普吉领事办公室、泰国入境旅游协会、泰国旅游局取得了联系，将了解到的事故信息及时报告国内。8日晚，曼谷办事处工作人员已飞抵普吉，协助我领馆开展相关工作。

　　目前，在事故中受轻伤和未受伤的游客已经回到酒店，7名受伤游客分别在四家当地医院住院救治，其中2人伤重，无生命危险。

　　据悉，两艘快艇上的中国游客分属两家旅行社，主要来自重庆和武汉。事故中遇难的中国游客身份已经确定，国家旅游局驻曼谷办事处正协助领馆人员通过旅行社联系家属办理善后事宜。
