中国铁路总公司：已交涉美国西部快线单方宣布终止项目合作事宜
本报北京6月10日电（记者陆娅楠）针对近日有媒体报道，美国西部快线公司终止与中国铁路总公司下属的中国铁路国际公司美国公司合作的消息，中国铁路总公司有关负责人表示，美国西部快线公司违反与中国铁路国际公司美国公司签订的有关协议，单方发布终止项目合作的消息，这一行为是错误的，不负责任的，我们表示反对，并已依法进行交涉。双方在合作框架协议中约定，任何一方对外发布有关信息，必须经对方同意。
　　去年，为响应中美两国元首开展经贸务实合作的共识，包括中国铁总、中国中车等6家企业在内的中方联合体在美国注册成立了中国铁路国际（美国）有限公司，并于9月13日与美国西部快线公司就组建合资公司签署协议。而近日，美国公司西部快线公司突然单方面宣布终止与中铁国际在建设拉斯维加斯至洛杉矶高速铁路项目上的合作。
