　　11日14时48分许，和田地区公安消防支队119指挥中心接到报警电话称，在玉龙喀什河二桥附近，因突发融雪型洪水，有民众被困，请求消防官兵前往救援。接到报警后，和田地区消防支队119指挥中心立即调集和田市肖尔巴格消防中队出动两车10名官兵携带水域救援装备和冲锋舟赶赴现场。

　　消防官兵赶到现场后发现，分别有两处“孤岛”上有人员被困，两处距离在300米左右，一处有9名光着膀子的小孩和3名青年人，另一处有两名男子，被困者在孤岛上正在焦急地等待救援，且河水不断上涨，水流愈加湍急，如果不及时救援，被困人员很有可能被汹涌的河水冲走，情况十分危急。

　　在制定救援方案后，消防官兵携带救生衣及安全绳索，前往“孤岛”救援。经过艰难划行，救援官兵终于到达被困12人所在的“孤岛”处，为被困人员穿上救生衣后，由消防官兵驾驶冲锋舟载上被困民众，向下游水流较小的河段前进，其余救援官兵在下游接应，大约20分种后，第一处被困的12名群众被消防官兵成功营救上岸。随后，消防官兵又按照之前的营救方案再次驾驶冲锋舟从上游顺势划行到被困者处，为两名被困的民众穿上救生衣，消防官兵驾驶冲锋舟划行到岸边，成功将被困者营救上岸。

　　据了解，14名被困人员中其中有9名是小学生结伴来此野泳，还有5名青年是掏挖和田玉的“掏宝者”。

　　和田地区消防部门提醒，受当前持续高温天气影响，昆仑山积雪融化迅速，和田喀拉喀什河和玉龙喀什河融雪性洪水频发，广大民众、特别是青少年以及来和田旅游的游客注意自身安全，在没有安全防护措施的前提下，不要盲目下水或在河中掏挖玉石，避免意外事故的发生。
