李克强表示，中方愿同德方增进政治互信，加快发展战略对接，深化贸易投资、金融、产业等各领域务实合作，就国际和地区事务加强沟通协调，支持民间和地方密切交往，推动中德关系与合作全面升级，更好造福两国人民。
李克强指出，维护国际贸易体系的严肃性是世贸组织所有成员的共同责任，也符合各方共同利益。在《中国加入世贸组织议定书》第15条问题上，履约是问 题的核心。中方已履行加入世贸组织所作承诺，欧盟等相关各方也应履行承诺，如期终止在反倾销调查中对中国使用“替代国”做法，为中欧贸易投资进一步自由 化、便利化，实现更好水平互利共赢创造条件。
李克强强调，中方重视发展同欧盟的关系。我不久将同欧盟机构领导人举行第十八次中国-欧盟领导人会晤，希望进一步推动落实双方各项共识，开辟务实合作新思路、新领域，加快商签中欧投资协定，并在贸易投资等领域实现新突破，为中欧关系、中国同欧盟国家关系发展注入新动力。
默克尔表示，德方愿保持两国高层交往，加快德国“工业4.0”同中国产业升级进行对接合作，大力推动人员往来特别是青年人之间的交流。德国政府对中 国企业赴德投资持开放态度，希进一步促进双向投资，开展第三方市场合作。德方清楚在《中国加入世贸组织议定书》第15条中所作承诺，愿推动欧盟委员会同中 方抓紧磋商，作出既符合世贸规则，又妥善处理经贸问题的解决方案。
双方还就共同关心的国际和地区问题深入交换了意见。
