办案民警发现两条举报线索为同一内容，决定合并侦查。通过对网站的分析，民警迅速找到了视频女主角“雪梨枪”的微信号和微博号，发现该女主角在微博中有着近万粉丝。从2015年底开始，“雪梨枪”是手机直播软件“映客”、“yolo”的热门女主播，拥有着4万余人的粉丝量，在直播圈名气不小。她通过网友得知，在直播平台上可以进行淫秽直播赚钱时，雪梨枪便打算利用淫秽视频将自己炒红，再利用知名度谋取暴力。
牟取暴利，女主播聚众交易淫秽视频
经进一步侦查得知，涉案视频由“雪梨枪”本人录制，后经粉丝传播到各大网站上。
3月底，随着“雪梨枪”的名气不断增大，关注她的粉丝越来越多，“雪梨枪”便伙同另外两名女主播在手机直播软件yolo、花椒、映客、QQ、微信等上宣传，以“66元微信红包进QQ群看私播视频”等方式招募会员准备进行淫秽表演。三名女主播分工明确，由“雪梨枪”组建数个QQ群并负责色情表演，李某担任群管理员负责审核入群网友付款情况并帮助“雪梨枪”录制淫秽色情视频，并上传至QQ群、百度云盘等空间供群成员下载观看，王某则进行群成员招募。短短的几个月时间内，由“雪梨枪”为主组成的团伙在数个QQ群内共招募了1300余人，收取粉丝发送的红包共计10万余元，她们将所得资金用于日常开销、购买奢侈品和旅行消费等。
千里追踪，三名嫌疑人最终归案
4月中旬，办案民警为进一步掌握先关证据，辗转前往深圳、成都、德阳等地对3名女主播的暂住地、收款记录、活动情况、会员规模等进行了摸排取证。
4月底，民警通过侦查得知“雪梨枪”王某正在迪拜旅行，并告知粉丝将在5月5日晚上进行直播。民警由此判断此二人可能在5月4日飞回成都，于是，德阳市公安局网安支队会同绵竹警方当晚成立了两个抓捕小组，立即赶往成都机场和“雪梨枪”成都的租住地进行蹲守。晚上8点过，民警成功在金牛区某小区内将刚旅行回来的两名嫌疑人及在出租屋等候聚集的李某成功抓获。经审讯，三人对自己的利用网络传播淫秽视频的事实供认不讳。
目前，涉案的三名嫌疑人已被刑事拘留，案件正在进一步处理中。
