近日AT&T在一次活动中使用了“AT&T thanks”的宣传语，而花旗银行认为这一宣传语侵犯了自己早年申请的“thankyou”商标，虽然“thanks”和“thankyou”有明显区别，但花旗银行仍然认为这一宣传语跟自家的过于接近，会对其名誉造成损害。

花旗银行称，今年四月份就已经提醒过AT&T这条宣传语可能会侵犯自己的权益，但后者仍固执己见，于是干脆将其告上法庭。

对此AT&T发言人表示不怕花旗银行的起诉，他们会积极在法庭应战。
