据业内分析师孙昌旭透露，高通在本届台北电脑展上展示了LTE与Wi-Fi共享天线技术，可以将手机Wi-Fi信号提升1.6倍。

据介绍，目前的手机在LTE(即4G)和Wi-Fi上需各自使用两根天线来提高传输速率，这些手机在4G网络中下载时使用两根天线，但在对外发送数据时只使用1根。这其中，LTE收发数据存在200毫秒的间隔，所以高通利用这个时间间隔，使得WiFi可以享用LTE的第二根天线，于是就产生了2x2的WiFi。而且LTE信号越好的地方，Wi-Fi功耗就降低得越多。

目前高通已经能够通过在基带上精确掌握时隙，将另一根天线智能切换给WiFi用，实现LTE和WiFi共享天线。当然，这一技术需要软件方面足够智能，才能不断地监测LTE的状态。
