对于此类违法违规行为，微信将根据国家相关法律法规及《腾讯微信软件许可及服务协议》、《微信个人帐号使用规范》进行坚决处理。
目前，微信共计对8000余个涉赌微信群进行了限制群功能处理，并对6000余个存在严重赌博行为的帐号进行了限制微信支付或红包功能处理。
而且，根据国家法律法规规定，微信还会配合司法机关对违法行为进行处理。2016年3月，微信配合公安机关打击，抓捕涉赌犯罪分子8人。
同时，微信团队提醒，用户若在使用微信过程中，发现有利用群功能进行赌博行为，可通过微信群页面的“投诉”通道向微信团队反馈。微信将持续对此类违法违规行为坚决打击。
