吴某今年32岁，绍兴本地人，案发前系绍兴袍江某印染企业员工，平时不抽烟、不酗酒，为人老实工作认真。

2015年，吴某被企业老板看中，破格提拔为分管机器配件采购、人事管理的管理人员。虽然吴某每个月的工资仅有3000元左右，但担任管理人员后，他事实上掌握了企业账务审核和人事管理的权力。

今年4月，该企业财务人员在核对账务时发现，吴某经手的一些账务存在诸多问题。经过财务人员仔细核对后发现，公司账户中竟有30余万元被吴某利用采购和人事管理的权限非法侵占。该企业随后立即报警。

但游戏已经挥霍完了吴某的积蓄，而每月3000元左右的工资也根本无法支撑自己对该女主播的供养。为了获得金钱，吴某想到了手头的权力，于是他频频造假，利用公司账务报销上的漏洞侵占企业资产。

由于吴某担任公司采购及人事管理，按照财务流程，公司所有账务报销都要通过吴某和公司另一名分管领导签字，再由吴某报给老板签字。这样相关费用便可从公司账户中提取出来支配使用。而吴某利用了另一分管领导与老板之间的信息不对称，在分管领导签字后，自己再私下通过作假修改账目后再送老板签字，从而骗取公司账户资金。

据警方初步查证，从去年6月至今年4月，吴某共侵占企业资产30余万元。
