北京市环保局今日通报5月份空气质量，除了PM2.5，截至5月底，二氧化硫、二氧化氮和PM10累计浓度分别为15、45和92微克/立方米，同比分别下降28.8%、12.9%和20.9%。空气质量达标天数96天，较去年同期增加21天;空气重污染同比减少1天。
而市环保局此前数据显示，截至4月底，全市PM2.5累计浓度同比下降21.8%。
为何空气质量改善明显?市环保局分析，主要是有利的气象条件与大力度治理措施持续释放的环境效益综合作用的结果。首先，空气质量与气象条件密切相关，有利的气象条件对于空气中污染物的清除作用明显。
其次，2013至2017清洁空气行动计划发布实施后，北京经历了大气污染防治力度最大的三年，实施了煤改清洁能源、污染企业和老旧机动车淘汰退出等一系列污染治理措施，污染减排的环境效益得到持续释放。
通州等压减燃煤幅度较大
