成本上,刘强东表示,很多C2C的模式如果把整个渠道成本全部算下来,大概需要30%-50%的渠道成本。消费者拿到产品的时候经过层层加价,到最后需要为此付出30%-50%额外的成本,这就是集贸零售模式这种业态必须要有成本的,因为它是一整套的产业链,需要很多分层的一批、二批合作,需要有人提供资金平台,有人提供物流平台,小卖店才能存活下去。效率方面,刘强东表示,衡量零售最最重要的效率就是库存周转天数,也就是存货周转天数,这也是涉及到物流成本很重要的方面。

随后,刘强东分析了电商除了给消费者带来用户体验的提升,带来便利之外,能不能把整个行业的成本大幅下降,能不能把整个行业的效率大幅提升。刘强东认为,只有大幅降低零售的成本,提高零售的效率才能反哺品牌厂商,让品牌厂商有更好的利润、更好的现金流投入到研发、创新,去为消费者生产更多更好的产品,最后整个一个产业链条才能进入良性的循环之中。

各位女士们,先生们,大家上午好,我们既然谈到“互联网+零售”,其实我一直很希望带领大家能够领略整个零售行业上千年以来演变的过程,到底是以什么样的主线去推动整个零售的发展,推动着零售几乎是有了人类社会以来的第一个商业模式。

人类社会有了商业以来第一个商业模式是什么?其实就是零售。

最早物和物的交换,到后来有了贝壳作为货币,到后来金子、银子、纸币到逐步的电子化。

有了人类社会以来所有的零售业态大致的划分可以划分为四个,第一个是集贸市场,80年代我们在农村生活,每个星期镇上逢集末、赶集,去集上街两面都是摆上摊子,这基本上是第一个以集中贸易方式的一种C2C的模式,包括迄今为止中关村电脑城也是这种模式。当然现在逐步在外迁,很多集贸式的,政府疏解交通压力在往外迁,这是第一个模式。

第二个模式是大商场式的,到了90年代各个县城大街里逛,村里结婚都要带自己的准媳妇去城里买货、买手表,都是逛商场。大商场基本上是我们零售的第二个业态,而且很快就在很多大城市几乎取代了集贸市场。

第三个阶段就是连锁店式,比如沃尔玛、家乐福、永辉,包括国美、苏宁都是连锁店的形式,密集的开店,到了今天的“互联网+零售”,电子商务模式。

为什么四种模式不断地更替?根据我们研究,除了不断提升的用户体验之外,背后还有一个最最重要的原因就是每一种新的业态能够取代上一种业态背后都是跟成本和效率有关。大家如果分析一下,比如中关村电脑城,很多C2C的模式如果把整个渠道成本全部算下来,大概需要30%-50%的渠道成本,不仅仅最后的摆小摊子,上面还有二批、一批,还有全国总经销上、省经级销商、市级经销商、县级经销商到批发商,四五层加起来每层都要加上一层利润。所以,消费者拿到产品的时候经过层层加价,到最后需要为此付出30%-50%额外的成本,这就是集贸零售模式这种业态必须要有成本的,因为它是一整套的产业链,需要很多分层的一批、二批合作,需要有人提供资金平台,有人提供物流平台,小卖店才能存活下去。

第二,效率。衡量零售最最重要的效率就是库存周转天数,也就是存货周转天数,这也是涉及到物流成本很重要的方面。集贸那种零售业态平均的库存周转天数50天、100天,这就是为什么过去十年前大家去中关村电脑城买一台电脑,不管惠普、联想的,仔细看后面有一个生产的月份,基本上都是两三个月之前的。你去中关村买,(电脑)要先拿到神州数码,北京的代理商,再到海龙经销商,再到海龙里的门店,每一层都有大量的链,每次都有损耗,有产生成本,需要时间。所以,到消费者要两三个月了。生产三个月,两个月之后硬盘降价了,主板降价了,最后品牌厂商利润很少,消费者拿到的都是两三个月之前的产品,也不是最新的。所以,库存周转大概50天。

第二大商场式,根据我们核算也需要25%-35%的渠道成本;还需要50天-70天的周转天数,到今天为止大家如果分析所有大商场式的零售业态,都是50-70天左右。还不包括给大商场供货的批发商的库存周转天数。为什么连锁店一起来迅速袭击了整个零售行业?基本上在没有电商之前,实际上全球连锁店都已经取代了大商场跟集贸市场成为零售业的主流,最最核心的就是连锁零售第一次把费用率降到了只有20%甚至20%以内,也是连锁零售大规模零售第一次能把库存周转天数控制在五六十天左右的水平。

到了今天电商,我们分析电商到底有没有价值,电商能不能大规模的替代连锁店成为第四个业态,成为未来零售的一个主流?我觉得我们还是要分析一下电商除了给消费者带来用户体验的提升,带来便利之外,能不能把整个行业的成本大幅下降,能不能把整个行业的效率大幅提升。

大家可以读读我们过去两三年的财报,运营数字已经回答了这个问题,京东电商的成本费用率从来没有超过12%,你在财报上看到我们费用率可能14%,因为有“到家”,有很多其他成本放到一块了,纯粹看电商我们费用率只有12%左右,第一次把整个渠道的成本降到了12%以内。我们库存周转天数只有30多天,我们库存管理了200万的产品,传统零售库存管理只有5万种,最多没有超过15万种,沃尔玛全球的产品总数只有15万种,但是京东管理着超过200万种的库存产品,全国200个库房,我们依然能把周转天数控制在40天以内,30天左右。

只有大幅降低零售的成本,提高零售的效率才能反哺品牌厂商,让品牌厂商有更好的利润、更好的现金流投入到研发、创新,去为消费者生产更多更好的产品,最后整个一个产业链条才能进入良性的循环之中。

所以,不管“互联网+零售”还是“互联网+出行”、“互联网+餐饮”,各行各业本质上都有共同的特点,如果加上互联网翅膀能够飞起来的话,互联网必须为传统行业降低成本,提升效率。如果不能做到这些,所有互联网参与最后都是竹篮打水一场空,是注定会失败的。
