据警方初步调查，嫌疑人和死者是同班级、同宿舍学生。事发时双方因矛盾纠纷发生口角、打架。过程中嫌疑人拿出一把折叠刀，刺向对方。受伤学生被送到校医务室，后被送往医院经抢救无效死亡。
目前嫌疑人已被刑事拘留，具体案件还在侦办中。
