在这种情况下,电影对于非玩家群体的吸引力并不是表现地很好,后劲不足的趋势已经呈现出来,如果不是高排片率撑着,恐怕在端午假期过去之后,票房下跌的状态会更难看。

对于制作方而言,这恐怕是一个很糟糕的消息,《魔兽》的制作成本约为1.6亿美金,加上营销费用,总体高达2.5亿美金,也就是说全球票房要超过5亿美金,扣除院线分成后,制作方才有可能实现盈利。

但是北美糟糕的票房,让这种压力更多地压在了中国市场。15-20亿对于别的电影而言是票房奇迹,对于《魔兽》而言,就是及格线了。

难以复制

对于《魔兽》电影是不是游戏电影化的翻身之作,还有一个评判标准,就是能不能被之后的影改电影复制。从这个维度而言,其实《魔兽》电影的大爆,对于国产电影而言,并不具有太多的借鉴意义,甚至可能是透支了类似电影的市场。

出品方万达、中影、腾讯影业、华谊兄弟,让《魔兽》享受了非凡的特殊待遇。背负只许胜不许败使命的万达,此次排片率高达80%,强大的背景也让其他院线大力配合。《魔兽》上映首日零点场排片高达13548场,首日全天排片更是高达12万场。

并且在票房出现明显跳水和后劲不足的情况,院线依旧给与极高排片,如果不是亲儿子,很难想象会有这种待遇,而且可以预见的是,为了力挺票房,这种情况还将继续。

在《魔兽》之后,不少国产游戏公司都加快了自己经典游戏IP影视化的进度。但是就覆盖面和粉丝忠诚度上,这些IP和《魔兽》还是存在很大差距,而且世界观和故事线也没办法和《魔兽》相比。

在情怀牌已经被《魔兽》打到了极致的情况下,后续的影改电影在推广和营销上难度将大大提高。尤其是在电影质量不佳的情况下,《魔兽》的情怀牌已经将市场的消费力进行了一次过度榨取。

也就是说,还想投机取巧的游改电影机会已经不会很多了。但是在热钱的催生下,一定会有一大波抢时间的游改电影出现,可能彻底伤害市场。

至于说,可不可能用质量高的影片去复制神话。《爵迹》和《封神榜》的特效实在是让人对于奇幻题材的游戏改编不抱希望。而且中国此前从未有过游戏IP电影化的先例,通常都是偶像剧电视的改编,业内人士也普遍认为,电视剧改编要比电影难度小,风险也低很多。

在中国和全球范围内,出现真正的游戏电影化的翻身之作,恐怕都还需要时间。
