　　2016年6月18日零时37分，有群众拨打110报警，称在长洲区新兴二路光明粥城内发生一起故意伤害案，一名男子受拳击后倒在粥城门外。接警后，辖区民警立即赶到现场处置，并通知120对伤者进行抢救，经抢救无效后死亡。

　　经初步调查，死者潘某和是梧州工业园区国税局干部，6月17日晚与蒙山国税局蒋某林在光明粥城吃夜宵期间，两人发生口角，蒋某林打了潘某和头部一拳，随后潘某和倒在粥城门外死亡。

　　目前，嫌疑人蒋某林已被警方控制，其他在场的人员也被依法传唤到辖区派出所接受调查。由于嫌疑人蒋某林仍处于醉酒状态，待酒醒后才能进一步调查。案件相关调查及善后处置工作正在进行中 ，相关部门也同时启动了调查程序。
