Accidents: men due overtime is innocuous, wholesome-overtime, health-IT information

Overtime is the norm? To note that OK. United States the occupational and environmental medicine published a study in the journal reported that overtime is particularly great effect on women's health, may make the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, high three times. However, men and overtime seems to be innocuous, even from a certain perspective, appropriate work is good for health.

United States researchers from the Ohio State University, relying on "1979 national youth long-term follow-up survey project" to learn more about the work habits and the medical records of more than 7,500 people 32, 72% of respondents worked more than 40 hours a week. Investigations revealed that women working overtime all year round easy death if you work more than 60 hours a week, suffered from heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis risk three times times higher than those who do not work overtime. However, the impact of overtime on men's health are not so obvious.

Survey data shows that overtime increase men's risk of developing arthritis, but 41-50 hours a week of men, the risk of heart disease, lung disease but less than a week is equal to or less than 40 hours of men. Researchers believe that this gender difference might be caused by women often take on more family responsibilities, need to balance work and family life, so overtime to cause them more stress, brings satisfaction and less.

United Kingdom, the daily mail of 16th reported citing authors alade·demu, emerging diseases are early versions of survey, with respondents age, disease may be increasing. He said people don't realize, overtime will have an impact in later life when he was young, and even bury a major health hazard.
